Oral Cecil Banks & Hazel Rebecca Reed Cornia
Information about this family is sketchy and missing a few pieces. Oral was born January 28, 1908, in Idaho to Enoch and Caroline Marie Larsen Cornia. Hazel was born October 17, 1908, in Salt Lake City to Thomas Edward and Sarah J. Wardle Reed, and she was living in Salt Lake City in 1910, 1920 and 1930. They were married January 7, 1927, in Bountiful, Utah. The record shows they were divorced in February of 1929 but the 1940 census for Highland shows them both living here with three children: Peggy, Sally J., and Caroline. In the same household were Kenneth and Stella Hamel (q.v.) and their two children: Shirley and Eddie. Stella Hamel was Hazel Cornia's older sister.
Hazel married David E. Greenig December 17, 1960. Oral died May 27, 1975, and Hazel died May 22, 1984. [Find a Grave]
