What is the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program?
This is an incentive program to encourage preschool children and parents to read books together.
How does it work?
Come by the Library and pick up a reading chart, or follow the link on the left to print off the instructions and first reading log. Each time you read a book with your child, mark off a circle on the chart. When your first chart is full come to the library and we will give your child a sticker and prize. Your child will get a sticker and prize for each chart you complete. When you have completed them all your child will receive a certificate and a new book! You can do this more than one time.
